"La Costa del Coco (The Coconut Coast)"

My dad's present to me when I graduated from college was a surprise trip to the Dominican Republic with my best friend that lives in Georgia. The trip was scheduled to be over my birthday. I flew to Atlanta, GA, to meet up with her, and then we flew together into Punta Cana. It was one of the best trips I had ever been on! We went mudding in buggies on the outskirts of Punta Cana and saw part of Salvaleon De Higuey, swam in a hidden tide pool in a cave, danced with native members of a tribe, and went to one of the world's natural pools off the coast. We swam with sting rays, sharks, and other fish, ate so much seafood, and had the time of our lives!
